Why Creativityday Exists
Good ideas rarely arrive on schedule, but the habits that produce them can be learned. Creativityday is a blog about making things, selling them and building a working life around them, written for people who want practical thinking more than inspiration quotes.
The site looks at four connected areas. Design covers visual and product thinking, from layout and typography to how a thing feels to use. Marketing explores how work finds its audience, including positioning, messaging and measurement. Entrepreneurship follows the path of starting and running a small venture, with its decisions about money, time and focus. Creative Technology considers the tools, software and platforms that are changing how people make and share work.
Readers we have in mind
Freelancers, designers, small studio owners, marketers and students all fit here, as does anyone with a side project that deserves a plan. You do not need a particular background. Jargon is explained, and examples are chosen to be useful beyond one industry.
What to expect from a post
Each article aims to leave you with something you can try: a method, a checklist, a question to ask a client or a way to look at a problem. Claims about tools, trends or results are checked against reliable sources, such as published research, product documentation and official data, and dated so you can judge how current they are. We revisit older pieces when things change.
Tastes differ in creative work, so subjective views are presented as views. Where a post mentions software or services, it explains what they do rather than urging you to buy.
